April 2024 Product Update

At SyncTimes, we continuously evolve based on feedback from Care Teams and our employees. Here are some of the recent updates to our product:

Email Reports

SyncTimes now delivers data straight to your inbox! You can schedule reports to be sent at your preferred times and make them recurring. Just select a report, customize the details, and specify the date range for your data.

Here's some reports that you can receive:

  • Action Requests: Monitors the use of specific icons and tracks associated response times. Perfect for analyzing how often the 15+ minute timer appears and how quickly your team responds.

  • First Patient of the Day: Measures how swiftly you see your first patient, helping care teams start their day efficiently. This report tracks the time from the patient’s appointment to being seen by a provider.

  • Kept Appointments: Provides insights into kept appointments, no-shows, and scheduled appointments for each department. This helps predict no-show trends and adjust scheduling accordingly.

  • Patient Visit Breakdown: Offers a snapshot of visit counts and average patient cycle times by department to better understand what is happening in the clinic.

  • Reports Accessed: Shows how frequently reports are accessed and by whom, aiding in understanding what information is known and what needs to be shared.

  • Staff/Patient Locations: Details staff members’ last known locations, crucial for emergencies and useful for managing daily team activities.

More Sounds in More Locations

We’ve expanded our sound library to include subtle, quiet options for non-urgent notifications (see our library here). Additionally, sounds can now be played from tablets, not just flowstations. This comes in handy in emergencies, or even if you want a noise to come from rooms that are ready for MAs.

Safety Badge

If you haven’t heard yet, our new beacons, now called Safety Badges, offer longer battery life and a crucial new feature: the ability to request staff assistance directly from the badge. In emergencies like a patient vomiting, losing consciousness, or becoming hostile, you can call for help quickly by pressing the badge without needing to use a tablet.

Traffic Patterns

A new report highlights the frequent travel patterns of staff members. This serves two main purposes: understanding where care team members travel most often to improve workflow efficiency, and providing a fun way to track daily steps.

Integration with Microsoft Teams

If you’re not aware, notifications can now be received through Microsoft Teams. Care Team members subscribed to the same notifications will be added to a group chat, allowing them to discuss and coordinate their responses.
