These drops are terminated into RJ-45 jacks. In existing facilities, the jack is typically left terminated into a single gang low-voltage bracket, as shown below. In new construction, an electrical box with conduit is often used. These drops are generally centered 48"-56" above the floor.
The locations for these drops will be determined by your SyncTimes representative(s) and your clinical/operations teams. Typically, the outside room drop will be on the handle/strike side of the door.
The inside room drop will be located near where the care teams do their charting in the room, which varies based on the exam room layout. All drops should have ~3" clearance from nearby signage, trim, etc.
