Install Responsibilities

This page outlines the primary responsibility clients and SyncTimes have for typical installs.

SyncTimes will Provide	Client Responsible to Provide (Typically through subcontractors)
Firewall (Meraki) - 1U per site	Network connectivity (additional details here)
Switching Equipment (Cisco SMB) - 1U per 20 rooms	UPS (switches require approx. 400W per 20 rooms)
Exam room tablets	Low-voltage (CAT5e or better) cabling from clinical areas to wiring closet, punched down into patch panel at closet & RJ45 at rooms
Ceiling nodes	Low-voltage mounting brackets ("Mud rings") and temporary covers
All patch cables	120V wiring & outlets (350W per television display)
PoE Flowstation control module	19" rack space for SyncTimes network equipment and patch panels (typically 2U per 10 rooms)
All mounting hardware for tablets	Procurement, install and mounting of Flowstation displays
	Patch panels and rack space for SyncTimes drops

Clients typically choose to subcontract much of their portion, including low-voltage wiring, 120V wiring, and providing patch panels. All linked products are provided as examples. SyncTimes and clients may use similar hardware provided by other vendors.
